The Newfoundland F-Body Association (NFFBA) is a club that aims to bring together Camaro and Firebird owners from across the province. Whether you own a first generation Camaro, a fourth generation Firebird or anything in between, if you own an F-Body then the NFFBA is for you.

History of the NFFBA

The idea grew out of a simple website that allowed F-Body owners to show off pictures of their cars and to have 'virtual meetings' online. Then The NFFBA was established on May 1st, 2002 out of an improptu meeting of 5 F-Body owners from around the St. John's area who wanted to get together to meet each other (and to see the cars of course) and to simply have a chat. And before we knew it, we were meeting regularly twice a week. After a few weeks of these informal meets and cruises, we decided to make it little more 'official' and form the NFFBA. And now we're looking for as many members as possible!

Where are we headed?

What exactly do we hope to gain out of the NFFBA? Well, that depends on who you talk to! But here are some of the ideas that have been put forward by our current members:
- F-Body car show
- Social/Family Gatherings (eg. club BBQ)
- Local and Out-of-town cruises
- Charity fund raising events
And in addition to organizing events, the club also hopes to attract enough members to allow us to hook up with parts dealers/suppliers (and any other type of car care service) to obtain discounts or reduced rates for NFFBA members. Whatever direction the NFFBA takes, the ultimate goal is to bring F-Body owners together and JUST HAVE FUN!!!

Where to learn more?

During the summer months, the members of the NFFBA meet at the Tim Horton's in Paradise (located on Topsail Road near the Outer Ring Road overpass) each Thursday and Sunday night at approximately 7:00 - 7:30pm (weather permitting). Feel free to stop by and have a chat with any of our members to find out more. Please note that this site will be updated to inform members of any meeting changes. Just check out the Meeting Info section for details.
